James started out as a spark in 2009, added plumbing when too many jobs stalled waiting for one, and brought decorating in-house when it turned out the making-good was what people actually judged the work on.
Why three trades
A single trade can only ever finish part of a job. Move a socket and someone has to fill and paint the wall. Fit a bathroom and it needs plumbing, electrics and a finish. Split that across three contractors and the job runs on their diaries, not yours.
Keeping all three in one small team means one quote, one schedule and one person answerable for the result. It also means we can tell you honestly when a job is smaller than you feared — there is no incentive to hand it on and mark it up.
How we work on site
Arrival times are given as an hour, not a day. Dust sheets and floor protection go down before tools come out. Waste leaves with us. If something unexpected turns up behind a wall, you get a call and a revised price before anyone carries on — never an invoice surprise at the end.
